This school is great! The teachers are amazing (especially Kingdergarten) My child loves it and has learned so much already.
The parents complaining about "verbal abuse" to their kids really is a poor attempt to cover up the fact that their kids misbehave and have to be talked to in a stern voice. There are always a few parents who either won't or can't control their kids and they don't want anyone else to make their kids behave either. I've been down that road before and the teachers are usually doing the best they can under the "extreme" liberalness of no discipline.
the teachers have verbaly abused several children, and we have spoken with the admin.about it,and nothing seems to get done.these two particular teachers would rather stand in the hallway and gossip, instead of teach class!
My son attends Pre-K with Mrs. Russell. She is a wonderful, hands-on teacher who truly cares about her students. I really like the school and its 'Family' atmosphere. I also like the low student/teacher ratio.
It is the next best thing to a private school that you can get.. It is just like a small familey..
