Troup is an unimpressive village with excellent schools. Political correctness has not made it here. Lots of homework, excellence is expected. Sir and ma'am are expected. If you want your kids coddled do not send them here. As a university professor I have a background in education and I am extremely impressed with Troup elementary. We have four children attending, and all of the teachers have been good. Ms. Dean and Ms. Kenrick are the best ever.
An excellent school with dedicated and caring staff
