Troy is the best school district in the area. We chose to live here rather than put our kids in the Temple school district, which is notoriously horrendous. Troy MS teachers are friendly, helpful and are concerned with my child's learning. Class size is in the small to normal range - my son's math class has 7 students. I get emails from his math teacher regularly letting me know what assignments are due and when tests are scheduled. I have never been invited to a conference, but at the same time, any time I email the teachers they respond quickly and never seem to be put out because they had to do it.
Almost all students on this campus are polite and respectful. I enjoy talking to them and going to campus activities. There are several teachers that have taught at TMS for more than 10 yrs. The art teacher is one of the most caring teachers I have ever met. The kids love her!
