They have it all! Academics (National Blue Ribbons School) Fine Arts, Technology and God!
St. Gregory is an excellent private school. I am not Catholic, but my children would not dare go anywhere else. The teachers are very qualified, the parental involvement has no rival, the principal is top-notch, and our curriculum is one of the best in the country. (The test scores prove it; so does our Blue Ribbon School status!)As a matter of fact, St. Gregory is once again a finalists for Blue Ribbon School Award status set to be announced this fall(2006). Our students excel in academics, religion, foreign language, music, library, P.E., and community service. Extracurricular activities are not numerous, but there are Boy/Girl Scouts, music/instrument lessons and aftercare. (Not many elementary schools offer more.)Also, St. Gregory has an upper education campus for grades 6-12, which is consistently ranked as one of the Top 50 Catholic Schools in America. Tyler Catholic School System is one of the best private school systems.
It is a great school, parents really involved, provides great religous and moral values to children. Not many extracurricular activities or sports (only basketball).
