2004-2007: The teachers are very caring and supportive of the children. More often than not, physical/verbal aggression among children is swept under the rug. 'Gifted and Talented' students are pulled out of the regular classroom for 30 minutes/week to create a paragraph for the school newspaper. Art, Music, Computer and P.E. classes are weekly and satisfactory. Extracurricular activities are available thru the community for a fee. Overall, the teachers and office staff are fantastic. The TAKS Test is what is taught in all other subjects. Parental evolvement very minimal too none.
