This school was a great school. The classes were really good and the teachers were okay. I loved how they split up the 5th and 6th grade and put a door..that led to a different area to the 7th and 8th grade. When I was going to school there Elementary School was K-8th grade but then they moved 5th-8th grade to the old high school which is now known as Van Alstyne Junior High and they started building a bigger high school for 9th-12th. I hate to say it but the Junior high was just really scary but the teachers were somewhat nice. You had your good ones and your pissy ones.
