We have a new principal this year (2007), which is great. Maybe she will be able to make some changes with the way things are done at this school. This is my son's second year at the Intermediate center, and I have to say that I was not looking forward to sending him back until I heard that there was a new principal. I had problems last year with the staff (including the former principal) where my concerns were not being addressed....they were basically ignored until I went up to the school and demanded that something be done. This year has not started off very well, but I am hopeful that by informing the new principal of my concerns that issues will be addressed. There is very little communication between teachers, parents, and students.
This school got a new principal this year and it has been really good. The teachers have been good this year.
