4 years Exemplorary not just recognized. Enough said. My children have been going there since 4th grade and have been in the 98 % in TAKS and A honor roll each of those years. Keep up the good work.
It was a pretty okay school just the principal and the people at the front desk were some of the rudest people I have ever met. If you don't want to look at kids all day, don't sign up for the job.
Some of the teachers and principal are awful. They tell you what you want to hear, but never follow through with what they tell you on how they are going to help your child.
My son has been going to this school 4 years now, its the best! I have no problems at all, and when I did have a problem with one of the subs, the principal took care of it immedetely! My son has been in the special programs for 5 years now, the therapist are WONDERFUL! I have NO complaints about this school what so ever! Can't wait till my youngest gets to go there!
Like most Texas schools, this one teaches toward the TAKS test. I have had both good and bad experiences in this school. We have attended since its opening in 2002. The principal is friendly, yet sometimes insincere, while most of the teachers are very friendly and willing to meet anytime to discuss your child's progress. There haven't been many extracurricular activities, and the few we have had are no longer available to the children. The only drawback is that communication between the school and parents regarding upcoming events is slow.
I have two children attending Seguin for the second year, one is in Kindergarten and the other is in 6th grade. This school has provided the most complete educational experience imaginable. My daughter, the 6th grader, has dyslexia and the program she is involved in teaches her self management skills, provides all the support she needs to complete her work, and keeps her in a regular classromm most of the time. Thanks to the awesome pre-k program in this district my 5 yr old is not only learning more than I would have believed possible but loving every second of it! Best of all there is not one child in the entire school that the principal and vice-principal don't know by name.
Brand new school in 2002. In the past two years, we have had the best teachers possible, with medium sized classes and lots of extracurricular activities available to choose from. The PTA is wonderful and very helpful in volunteering time to help the students and teachers. We will greatly regret ever having to leave this school and district.
