This school is five star. I have two daughters that attend and will not be returning to the public schools where my kids are just a number and where morals and values are a thing of the past. At this school, my children get personal attention and their needs are important, educational and otherwise.
I really enjoy that there are fewer kids per class and that the age limit for the children to play sports is lower then public schools. Having a state championship football team also shows that they teach the kids teamwork. The staff is very friendly most are willing to go above and beyond to help, encourage, and praise the kids.......
LOVE the environment of the school the staff and students are very nice and friendly. I feel this is better than the traditional public schools. My children feel very safe here. They can relax and be at peace at school. They even open up and made new friends. My daughter has made HIGHER GRADES in MATH here which is a course she was having problems with. When it's time to get ready for school I don't even have to wake them up anymore they're so excited to go. Now they even want to eat lunch everyday at school. This was something I had to tell them to do each day eat your lunch today please.
This is a wonderful school! I love the low student to teacher ratio! My children not only benefited from the excellent instruction that West Columbia Charter School offered, they were also able to participate in the athletics programs! Our Football Team won the State Championship in our Division this year, which is a testimony to the talent, discipline, and leadership abilities of both our athletes and our coaches.
I feel this school has helped my children broden thier skills in various ways. Socially it has been compelling that they all communicate amonst eachother and this has brought out the athlete in my daughter and I rate it top notch for the way the school works to gether as a team not only on an athletic basis but as a whole
