I think the teachers are dedicated to the students. They and the principal think outside the box to have extra curricular activities but after 8 hours with little ones most are worn out. Personal family needs some attention. They accept help from parents if they want local clubs for the kiddos. Discipline starts at home, what can a teacher do if child has no respect for parents and authority. Do you think the teacher can train the child and teach the class? Something has to give. I suggest some adults with free time to volunteer at the school, discipline problems are a result of the child not putting the school into his quality world. He is hurting everyone, himself as well.

The school cafeteria is dirty. Discipline is a major problem with this school, several in my daughters' class were extremely disruptive and constantly removed from class, but returned shortly with no change.

This school is now pre-k through 5th grade. When the new school year began the air conditioner didn't work properly. It worked some days but many days were completely miserable for the children. Further investigation led me to belive this was a problem for the last 5 years. We pulled our child and sent her to a school near her Biological mothers house. Although this is a major inconvenience, the lack of sympathy from the Superintendent, and the fact he lied to me (said he had no idea there was a problem), was the reason I ulitmately decided it was worth driving 45 minutes to take her to school. I recently read in the minutes of the school board a plan to have the A/C/ fixed. Considering the heat in Texas, it won't be soon enough.
