Mrs. Gonzales is the current principal. She is professional and friendly unless challenged. She will defend the teacher's actions in nearly any situation. Unfortunately, she had made it clear that she is more interested in statistics than working with parents to provide the best, cooperative learning experience for the child. We have been lucky to have several great teachers, one average, and one that should leave the profession.

The majority of the reveiws should be ignored as they are old and not applicable to current standards. Scudder Elementary with Mrs C Mueller as principal served as a great start for our child and we are loooking forward to the continuing ed at Jacobs Well (opened in 2011). Few surprises just very good teachers and involved parents alike. Would recommend the schools and hope they continue to keep high standards for our kids. Always stay involved with your children - the teachers are responsible for the kids in the day and they seem to do their part well - it's up to us to work with them after school and continue their quest for learning.

Brand new school facility for 2011. Very nice. School admin are friendly and helpful. Academics meet or exceed our needs and needs of the people I communicate with. Recommend this school.

School conditions are terrible. Overcrowded clasrooms and underpaid teachers. School Board that doesn't pay attention to the issues unless it involves athletics (mostly football). Superintendent that has an ego problem and makes excuses for what is happening now. Very unimpressed!

School conditions are terrible. Old facility and not maintained well. School hasn't been painted in years. Education is average. Students are taught what they need to know. Funding for Arts, Music, and other non-curriculum courses are shameful. Lunch time is a constant yelling period for lunch room monitors. PE is just another recess time. The conditions at this school are bad, but at least our school district has a nice Football field!
