coming from a big city to a small town school was the best thing I could have ever done for my kids. The entire staff at all 3 campus' go out of their way to help each child recieve the education they need to move on. They offer tutorials, saturday school, and other programs to be certain that no child can slip thru the cracks. This is something I didn't even see in the big city.I am here till the end for my kids' sake.
Excellent program with a principal that goes above and beyond the call of duty with a great staff of teachers.
Academics seem to be very good and teacher commitment appears to be high. There is very little parent involvement, almost eerily low for an elementary school.
The school has great curb appeal and seems to have the students needs as their main concern.
I have three children that attend East Chambers. I am very happy with the district, the teachers, and the quality of education. I choose to live here because of the school.
I thikn East Chambers is a wonderful school with very dedicated teachers. My 3 children have had a wonderful experience and enjoy going to school. You can find the principal in the mornings greeting our kids with a big smile and enthusiasm which I think is wonderful. I have seen her out in the rain openning doors for the kids. I can not say enough good things about the teachers and principal of this school.
I think that East Chambers is a very good school. I have one daughter who has been in special ed for several years, and she has received the highest quality of concern and care from her teachers as a general rule. In fact, I would not consider moving from this community as long as my daughter is in school because I don't think she would get the same level of education and encouragement or make as much progress at another school. East Chambers has gone beyond the call of duty to make sure that her needs are met. My other daughter is also excelling in school, learning, and being challenged. Yes, there are some teachers who aren't as effective as others (but that is also true of every other school); but I truly believe that most all of the teachers at the elementary care about their students and strive to help them succeed.
I don't like this school in the least. There are however two or three exceptional teachers who have gone out of their way to help my child. Kemper Gibson and Angela Johnson are both top of the line as far as I am concerned.
