Winnsboro High School is a great school despite the very outdated technology. Winnsboro is a town that proudly represents tradition, spirit, and competition inside and outside the classrooms. The teachers are very considerate and work hard to provide the best environment possible for the students. The students are like any other rednecks and are very open for new students. They excel at academics, rating within the top 100 schools in the state year after year. As a former transfer student, I highly recommend WHS to anyone that wants a simple small town feel with one of the best academic programs in its class.

I am impressed with the test scores at Winnsboro Hgh School. Just to see the facilities and know that the students are able to learn even in the poor surroundings is a positive attribute to the teachers that they employee. I wish that Winnsboro could get a newer facility but in these times it will be difficult to pay for. I believe that WHS strives to be the best and the students and teachers should be commended.

I put my daughter in this high school. It was like putting a plastic bag over her head and hoping she would survive 4 years. If you were not born and raised here I would not advise you moving here. It's a serious case of the 'Good old boy system' Thank God she is out!!!!

I loved attending Winnsboro High School. It was a wonderful time in my life and I miss it. I loved the teachers and most of the students. I no longer live anywhere near there, but I think of those times often. When I get the chance to go home and visit my home town, I will stop in and say hello to my former teachers, because they truly touched my life.

This school district provided a great learning environment. I should know because I attended this school from the day I started to the day I graduated. The only problem I had with the school system was that the high school was old and started to look like a trailer park the last few years I was there. The school board needed to do more to get a new high school but they did not.
