My child had 5 wonderful years at Groves. She loved each and everyone of her teachers. She worked hard to keep her behavior clip on green and to get the best grades she could, and was received several rewards throughout the years and upon graduation. I feel confident that they have armed her with the tools she will need to have and educational successful year in Middle school and beyond.

This school is all about "teaching the test". My son has been here since kindergarten and is now in 4th grade. He is an "above grade level student'. He has special needs that result in behavioral issues. We were very fortunate to have great teachers for his 1st & 2nd grade years. We have tried working with the school for 4+ years now to get him the help he needs. I completely understand the limited resources that schools today have to work with, but to treat the parents as if they are crazy is quite rude. For professionals trained to work with children, they seem to know very little about children that don't fit their expectations. We are leaving this school feeling like we failed our son, he has been traumatized for his short academic experience. Hopefully it is short compared to the number of years he will be pursuing his educational dreams...if he has any left.

From poorly designed traffic flow to blatant racial discrimination from the teaching staff. Our experience has been mind numbingly sickening. At first we thought that increasing our involvement would help alleviate some of the problems, sadly this was not the case. There are several phenomenal at home parents that make tremendous efforts to compensate for the uncaring staff. Unfortunately, most of the parental involvement was thwarted by a green teaching staff. My husband and I understand the difficulties that our educators face today but, there is no excuse for poorly delivered material. We would spend on average 3 additional hours a night clarifying and re-teaching the information. As a final note, this school is definitely best described as don t judge a book by its cover . The cover to this book seems like it makes the grade of an exemplary school, when in fact the interior is nothing close.

This is a great school. The teachers take a personal interest in their students. My both my children loved Groves and all their teachers. The principle also takes a personal intrest in each child. For the past 3 years it has received the highest rating for standard testing.

Our child has special needs for which we have been very supported. We receive feedback from teachers, counselor, and the principal which has helped to improve at school and at home. We couldn't ask for more.

The school teaches the bare minimum standards and doesn't differentiate for the individual student's needs.

I have been very happy with my daughter's experience at this school. My daughter is in the gifted program at this school and it is awesome! The staff is friendly as well.
