In the Alpine School District (ASD), children may attend any school (called intradistrict choice). Gifted education services are available to elementary and middle school students, and the district provides special needs schools. ASD also offers support to at-risk students.Under the federal No Child Left Behind law, students attending a Title I school designated as “in need of improvement” have the right to attend a higher-performing school in the district.
