My son attend this school for almost 3 years. They receive Carson smith scholarship for kids with special needs. My son have fragile x. He have speech, behavioral, and learning problems,we never denied this. We always assist parent teacher conferences and they told us,my son is cute, fun to work with him, and show me the work they do with him. We never very impress with his work ,but every positive step he do, we are happy with. Every behavior problem my son have in school had consequent in home, trying to work with the teachers the most possible for reinforcement good behavior. 3 weeks before graduating from six grade they decide to spell him denied 15 days of school work because this is not the right placement for him. Not returning any money to the Carson smith scholarship or me. telling me they will not say anything to the authorities, because my son will miss more then 10 days of school (this was the answer Kathy (the principal) told me when I ask about my son rights to go to school) Then not because they can receive a scholarship for special needs, they are capable to work with them. I am still waiting for my son papers, or money for the last month he don't work there.
