I love this school. It is a wonderful environment that supports students progression in any of their desired fields. Students are taught to behave respectfully and to be responsible. The Arts teachers and AP or CE teachers are superb; especially the fantastic drama teacher who has built up student's confidence and dedication time and time again. The principle doesn't get the credit he deserves from many of these reviews. He does care about the success of the students and does a wonderful job. The councilors are friendly and always desirous to help. It is a school that is backed 100% by the community! Go Tigers!

I really enjoyed going to school here. It is a small school with a lot of pride and spirit. The community is very tight knit and although the city council might not be the best the school is wonderful. The teachers are great, but you do have to be willing to put effort in, because as much as they would like teachers are unable to carry all of their students.

A decent school if you put forth the effort. However, I found the lack of diversity at this school (racial and religious) a distraction many times. Again, it is what you make of it and it has decent academics. I just felt very different at this school, more so than before I moved here.

i graduated from HHS a few years ago. I found that the school expects you to live by their specific religous standards. I am not religous at all and found this completely ridiculous. However there are some REALLY great teachers there whom I learned alot from.

I love hurricane high school. Its got a lot of great people and teachers but the principal isnt very supportive of the students. As a cheerleader at hurricane high, i dont think our principal has very much pride and spirit in our school especially coming from another school in our district. He's not very friendly or nice to the students.

My daughter just graduated from Hurricane High School and had a wonderful experience. We moved from northern Nevada two years ago and have found the school to be academically rigorous as well as it offers a wide variety of curriculum choices. The music program is phenomenal as are all the liberal arts programs. The core classes (math, English, science, social science) are outstanding as well.

My grandson is now asophmore attending Hurricane High as well as the Success academy at Dixie College. Things are going well and now he and one of hi friends are talkinging about different fields in engineering. We received his PSAT scores they were excellent. In order to be elgible for National Merit Scholarsips you must be a Junior in highschool. Since he has taken it as a Sophomore it was great preparation for next years test. Unfortunate more parents and principals don't use this site!

It has been a wonderful experience for my son to attend this school, he has learned so much. We want to especially thank Mr. Richard Hill for opening a new world of knowledge. My son was taking baby steps in learning, he now has a 4.0 average in all subjects, and comes home daily and shares something new he has learned that day. I want to thank all the teachers and counselors for making this an excellent school of learning.
