Not only a place to receive an solid education, but a place to learn about new life in Christ as well.
This school has a good adult to student ratio. 45 total kids and 15 professional staff members teaching, counseling, playing and working along side of the kids. The academics are stellar. Easy for anyone interested to look into the high school academics. One of the best things about this school is the unconditional value they place on each individual child. That is not to say the kids don't have consequences for poor choices, but their value, love and acceptance is never on the line. The entire system is based on ALA being a safe place for the children to build life skills, and wisdom. Every single staff member is a born again Christian.
I went to this school and 2 years later they still havn't given me my transcrips. I could not continue my education when I was out of this locked up facility. They also kept all my beloning!
Just know when you enroll over half the staff is morman and so are the couslers I thought I was paying for a Christain School not a morman one
Good place for your teen to find himself again. Could be better but the staff is caring and our student came back after 9 months without the attitude that was ruining our relationship. Do the classes and you will see results
