This has been a great school for both of my children. The teachers are very active and helpful and the principal is also. The only downside is the physical location and overall appearance of the building. The school is older and heating/cooling are a concern. Unfortunately, because of the geography of the school and the type of demographic in the community, I don't see a lot of money going into fixing these issues which is a real shame... this is a school which could not only use the additional resources... but given their caliber as teachers and administrators now... could probably perform near miracles with additional funding and support from the district. But that's a district issue... not a school issue. This school is head and shoulders above the rest.
Does a great job with the Title 1 funding. A great new principal as well. We hope to continue to be a part of Midvale elementary as it continues to grow.
