The students here are very polite. The PTA is very active and very supportive of the parents and students. The teachers are very committed to the success of the students. . . home visits, phone calls, monthly newsletters, up to date information on the web. They have many positive behavior progams that my student really enjoy. I like that they celebrate achievement and good behavior. Lots of focus on the positive. The principal is very friendly and has an open door policy with students and parents. The kids say he visits classrooms regularly.

My son started at this school last year, 2nd grade. I think this school has some good qualities and a lot it needs to work on. I did not see very much parent volunteers and did not hear much about the PTA during the whole year. My son seemed to do well, but communication with parents were lacking. The principal was very good, but she is leaving, so we will have to see how the new principal does. I hope they continue to improve and the teachers in 3rd grade show more involvement in the school as a whole.
