Great school if you have a "normal child". Had to fight with principal and teachers for my slower learning child. We were told he wasn't behind enough to help! Alot of homework that my child could not do but still couldn't get extra help! Very disappointed with the school. There are about 3 good teachers and that is it. Also had problems with gossip among teachers and other parents. IEP was discussed with others not on the team!!

This is an excellent school with a great faculty and staff. I would say Pioneer has one of the best elementary school choirs in the state. In the sixth grade students have the opportunity to learn how to play guitar. The teachers collaborate well and that is seen in the friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in the building. The librarian is exceptional, she always has a different theme every year and really gets the kids to love and appreciate books. The administration and faculty are great with implementing school wide procedures, integrating the arts throughout the curriculum, and meeting the needs of the students. Parental involvement has also been great.

Not pleased with this school. I am sure many good things have happened at this school, but as for my child, it's been two solid years of neglect for my slower child. It took months and a call to the district to finally have testing done.
