Horizon Educational System

I am now a senior in college, having graduated from Horizon. I will graduate in Mechanical Engineering with Honors. I can tell you that this school allows personal, creative learning more than any environment I have ever been placed in. I excelled in Jr. High and High School, graduating as valedictorian without the trials listed in the negative review here. Horizon shaped me into a respectful, open-minded student, leaving me with life-long friendships. It was a very valuable experience.

I am a former student of Horizon School, and I would just like to comment that after attending this school I was completely prepared for Jr. High and High School. I was more academically advanced than those of my peers who had attended public school. The teachers are wonderful and intelligent at Horizon, and they take the time to help students individually. I loved this school and I will place my schildren here when I have them. Horizon is a fun, hands-on learning facility where students learn academic skills as well as social skills. The most important thing I learned while attending Horizon School was respect for myself and others. This is the best school in Ogden.

I had 2 children attend Horizon School through 6th grade. Upon leaving, they both attended public junior high schools. They excelled academically through junior high. But more importantly to me as a parent, they left Horizon School happy, respectful, very confident, and with a love of learing. I owe a great deal to this amazing school.

They did not prepare my child for public school. We moved to a different state and I put her in the public school system. She was supposed to be in the 5th grade, according to her age, but when they tested her in English and Math skills and knowledge she was only at the 2nd grade level. She has a tested IQ of 140 so her abilities were not to blame. It took her two years and summer school to overcome what she didn't get taught at Horizon. She is now going to be going into high school as a distinguished scholar with an avg. GPA of 4.0. Horizon school had nothing to do with her success. Her success came from her motivation to overcome the adversity caused from Horizon.....
