As an eight grade student here, Centennial Middle School is an amazing school. It has amazing electives including cooking and nutrition (Foods), sewing, musical theatre, and multimedia production. The music program is wonderful. There are advanced band, orchestra, and choir classes, including an all-girls advanced chorus. The enriched classes meet your needs, and most of the teachers really care about their students passing their classes. If you have an Incomplete assignment or bad grades, you can go to Intervention during plus time (a half hour break in between 3d and 4th period). That really helped me with my math grade. I would definitely recommend this school. YOu can even be a teacher's assitant in the eithgh grade!
I was worried for my daughter when she entered 7th grade here, such a transitional stage in their young life. But I'm happy to say it has been a wonderful surprise to find out the Centennial is a really great school! The teachers and staff are helpful and clear with expectations, and the students and atmosphere of the school is very positive. There is a genuine friendliness in the student body and a good work ethic that is felt. A very happy parent indeed, and my now 8th grader is ready for high school because of a great experience at this school!
This year I started seventh grade at Centennial. I just moved to Provo and I was a little nervous about such a big school. But, I love it! The teachers are so nice; so are the students. Centennial has high standards so it's not too easy, but there is after school assistance if it's too hard. The electives are so much fun! I'm glad I came here, and all of my cousins went here too.
I think this is a great school and it has a lot of good stuff for our children and they really like it cause they dont use uniforms..
I have been starting up the 4-H Afterschool program at Centennial, and I love it! Everyone is friendly and outgoing. The teachers are very helpful and they care deeply about the students.
Centennial was a great school when I attended it from 1997-1998. The teachers and administration made the atmosphere exceptional. Centennial has very high standards and strict policies that keep the students motivated and provides a great atmosphere for learning.
