We moved from Cottonwood to Oakridge for my childs 4th grade year. What an improvement!! (WOW) I wish I had changed sooner. We love it!

I agree with all of the reviews here. My child has attended Oakridge for 6 years. We have never had a 'bad' teacher. Most of them are amazingly dedicated professionals who are fun, challenging, and highly skilled in motivating kids to do their best. Parent volunteerism is a tradition at Oakridge. Music is hands-down exceptional. The arts and PE also add to a well-rounded curriculum. There is no question that Oakridge is a great school.

They integrate the arts with every day learning. They encourage parental involvement. So far, I've only experienced motivated, caring teachers. My child really enjoys it here.

Oakridge is one of the best public school in the Granite school district. Lots of parents involvement and excellent, qualified teachers. We love the arts, drama and music the school provide in their curriculum.

Oakridge is the best public elem. we could find in SLC. The expectations are high and the school culture is academic, yet accepting of all levels. The Art Works for Kids program is an integrative-cross curriculum program that is excellent. The school and parents work hard to maintain the grants and funding needed to keep Oakridge on top. My three kids love it there.

Our children transferred from private school and we have been amazed at the teacher quality, the emphasis on the arts and the dedication of the administration to making Oakridge the finest of learning institutions. Like any public school in the state, the school suffers from a lack of funding with regard to the 'extras.'
