My son is in his first year at Carden, and he loves it! I have yet to have a 'Does it have to be a school day' since he's started. He leaves happy, comes home happy and is always excited about what he has learned that day. Carden reinforces what we as parents have been teaching our children at home by emphasizing good manners, respect for faculty and other students, good citizenship, and being a well rounded kind person. My son has 3 teachers for the 20 something students in his class, which has made it easier forhis learning needs to be met. The programs offered are of the highest quality as are the teachers. Mr. Taylor, the headmaster, is truly a wonderful example for the students as are Mr. and Mrs. Jeffs. I am very happy with Carden and recommend it to anyone that will listen.

I love this school for my children. The children at Carden obviously feel safe, loved, and valued. You can tell this when you walk the halls. Carden Memorial provides a healthy amount of structure for the children, and is very open to working with parents on their children's goals and issues. The emphasis on kindness, manners, academics, the arts, and citizenship is wonderful. From a political perspective, I am a very liberal parent, and I find Carden completely in keeping with my ethics and values. I especially like their emphasis on living within a community and learning to get along with others. I can highly recommend this school. The headmaster, Mr. Taylor, provides a wonderful role model for all the children. And the teachers have been top notch.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
