Academic focus and philosophy

Educational philosophy and approach to learning Our Slogan:“Building the Future One Student at a Time.” We are city-centered for important learning and citizenship reasons–to learn in and from the city through field work, visits to museums, libraries, businesses, and college campuses, and from community speakers and mentors. Our graduates complete a service learning internship in where they apply their studies to build and extend understandings of local and global issues, make a difference in their communities, and prepare for their futures.
