Our kids are attending ELA for a third year because they are learning great things & they really like their school! I'm amazed at how the school has retained a huge majority of the same high-quality teachers for the first 3 years. This school really seems to break the mold on what a charter school can do. There is a huge parental support system in place & that is also making a positive impact.

There are so many programs and extra activities for the students to participate in. There are art classes, choir, guitar lessons, Tanner Dance, many sports teams(more each year). There is a German club, Science and engineering club. The depth of the history education is unmatched anywhere! The Kindergarten students study the entire globe, in depth, on their level & it is brought to LIFE! All students K-9 have 2-3 thoughtfully planned field trips per year. Really, fun, amazing things are happening here! Every teacher is wonderful, and cares about each student & the school community as a whole. The school community is very strong, wonderful PTO program and leaders. The principal is wise & a good example and motivator for everyone. There is an incredible amount of parent involvement. The test scores speak for themselves as far as academics, and that was only the first year! The school musicals in cooperation with SJ theater are first class! The school building itself is run on solar power, which shows the schools promise to the future of children. This school is going to produce artistic, motivated, culturally aware, kind, thoughtful members of society! GO ELA!!!

for being the first year, it has been great! My kids are being pushed so much in the core subjects...and they are really starting to do some fun things here. Love the fine arts too.
