The school works well with the resources it is limited to. The parents are caring and concerned and the teachers are good. There are many new programs this year like AR and Focus on Art, that are geared around the kids and encourage parent involvement.

I am very disappointed in the involvement of the principal for the last two years. My kids are not excited about going to school like they have been in the past. More extracurricular activities would be great, especially after school. Me kids ride a bus and are only 15 minutes early for school - they bearly have time to eat breakfast or do morning extracurricular activites. I'm a single mom and it's hard for they to get involved.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Utah used the Utah Criterion-Referenced Test (CRT) to test students in grades 2 through 11 in Language Arts, in grades 2 through 8 in Math, in grades 4 through 8 in Science and upon completion of certain courses in grades 8 through 11. The CRT is a standards-based testing program, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Utah. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.
