My kids and I absolutely love this school! The staff is amazing... West Point Elementary works very hard to maintain high learning standards and a safe environment for everyone at the school!

My children have attended this school for 5 years now. West Point Elementary works very hard to maintain high learning standards and a safe environment. The volunteer involvement is also spectacular!

I teach at this school and have absolutely loved it. The school environment is friendly, positive, and caring. Davis School District is THE best that I have worked in. Students receive Art, Music, PE, and Computer classes once a week. I'm seriously considering moving my family to this area so my kids can go there. The staff at this school keep students in mind #1!

The school is currently being added to they have a wonderful principal and staff that are woring hard to make the school the best that it can be. The area is going through much growth so the class sizes in some grades are close to 30 but they will be adding new classrooms and teachers to make that situation better.

About the tests

In 2009-2010 Utah used the Utah Criterion-Referenced Test (CRT) to test students in grades 1 through 11 in language arts, in grades 1 through 7 in math, in grades 4 through 9 in science and upon completion of certain courses in grades 8 through 11. The results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for all grades combined for each subject. The CRT is a standards-based testing program, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Utah. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.
