A dark, little school. My son only attended one year but as I volunteered there I noticed that other than the nice staff in the office, the staff (including his teacher) were impatient with the children and didn't seem to enjoy their work. I wondered why they worked there if they didn't enjoy the kids. My Kindergartener did do well accedemically but really missed out on being taught a love of learning. He was intimidated by his impersonal teacher who tried to fit in too much into the classroom time and therefore often was cross with the children. Plus he brought home mounds of homework everynight. Once per week it was a similar sheet that seemed to me to be simply busywork.
