Champlain School

Champlain is a wonderful neighborhood school supporting the larger community of Burlington. It's a great school but needs help, as all schools do these days, thanks to some misguided Americans' great desire to spend money on bombs and tax cuts instead of education.

This school embodies balance - balance in population, balance in teaching styles in the building, and balance of energetic and peaceful climate. Nancy Z's strong leadership has really produced a well-functioning community where teachers, parents, and most importantly, students, can be proud of our school.

I use to go to this school from 1963 to 1968 and it was a great school then. now all off my children have gone there from K thur 5th and it has even gotten better with teacher and the principal is the best principal with the kids and the parents.
