We are considering changing schools to the Burlinton area? What are the best elementary and middle schools?

We are not happy with Stowe schools - 4th and 5th graders do not have text books, they work off worksheets and ther is too mcuh movement among students in and out of the classroom. No structured lessons.

You should look at Mater Christi School. My son, who is in college, received a very solid education at this school. Many of the top students in local high schools are MCS grads. You don't need to be Catholic. School is very open to all religions. What you will get at MCS is an educational foundation for your children. Check out the website and give them a call to set up a time to see the school and have your children shadow for a day.

I know this is a little late, but.... I would highly recommend Christ the King School in Burlington. Solid curriculum, great teachers, involved parents, and a family feel to the community. Bishop John A. Marshall School is also in your community. I know several people who send their kids there and have only heard positive reviews.
