My experiences with this school have been terrible at best. There is a complete lack of communication thought the school. They are notorious for pushing students through the grades and I have experienced this first hand. I have also found that decipline is far from taken seriously even when dealing with violence against a 1st grader from 6th grader. Even in those kind of situations, getting someone on the phone even proves difficult Because of the great many issues within the school, enrollment has been declining for years. Many parents are choosing to send kids to private schools or to home school. I will be pulling my children from this school in June The facilities are in poor condition and in need of serious repairs. Most of the building are reeking of mold.The playground is one big splinter. The high school offers limited courses in comparison to area high schools. Most of what they are offering right now is experimental and constantly being changed There are wonderful schools here in Vermont. My advice is to move on to the next one. This school is in trouble and has quite a long way to go to get back on track. Taxes are quite high in Cabot when compared to other town also
