Over rated. The District and CHS Administrators MICRO manages all aspects. Now they are teaching to the lowest common denominator calling it "Differentiated Instruction". The Math and Science departments are inept at preparing students for serious further studies in medical fields. AP classes are watered down. What % of AP students get credit for these classes at collegiate level? Had a dependent take Algebra 1, 2 and 3 and they placed into pre-algebra for their college level course! Tax payers are NOT getting their value for their tax dollars.

Both of my daughters received an excellent education here. Teachers challenged them and prepared them for the rigors of college. Great AP courses!

I think chs tries hard, they may not be the best in art or sports, but they do have the programs. The administration has improved since I have been there, and their AP program rivals many schools in the area.

i was not that impresed with chs. availablity of art, music and sports was limited. parent involvement was also limited. this was a few years back so things may have changed...several AP classes offered though which was great. i wish a greater connection with the area colleges was also offered.
