Both of my daughters in grades 5 & 7 are thriving at Fair Haven. They both do well academically and are involved in athletics. They are also involved in drama. Given the fact that I believe that parents are primarily responsible for a child's education, Fair Haven has proven to be a good school for my girls. The teachers and principal are receptive to needs and issues. As a parent, you can be as involved as you want to be.

We have two children in this school, 1st and 7th. Our first grader is on an IEP. We cannot say enough GOOD about the team we have. They make us feel like we are part of the team by including us in discussions and valuing our opinions and ideas. Our 7th grader has made great strides in this academic atmosphere. He is taking Spanish and absolutely loves it. FHGS has many opportunities for children to become involved outside academics, not just sports but drama, rock climbing, chess night, etc. The school encourages students to become involved in areas of interest. They also encourage the community to help provide opportunities for children at FHGS. FHGS is also very supportive of its staff by making available workshops for staff to participate in areas of interest/further education as well. We are very glad to be part of this school.

My son went to this school and did fantastic. Now my daughter is in kindergarten, and i am still very happy with the teachers and the staff. They provide a wonderful learning envierment and a safe place that the kids enjoy. The principal is very hands on in allaspects and they really encourage parental involvement
