Wonderful small alternative school! My daughter has flourished there the last 3 years with individual attention and freedom to pursue her interests while progressing well in all areas of study. Highly recommend!!

We are just finishing up our first year with the school and only have great things to say about it. My daughter is in the 3-4 year group and her teacher is wonderful. Their buddy system allows her to interact with the other children in varying ages, giving the school a home atmosphere. She hasn't turned five yet and already has been exposed to Spanish, Africa, China, Native Americans, immigration, Karate... topics and activities that other schools don't have the resources to provide. I'm sure she will be reading on her own soon and can easily count to 40. The school also teaches a great sense of community and respect for each other which has given my child a well-rounded foundation in her impressionable years.

What a great hands-on school. Small classes with a lot of group cooperation, art, music, student-driven projects and creativity. The school also does a great job following the Vermont Frameworks for specific age/grade groups. My daughter appreciates the small classes, incredible teachers and interactive learning. Where else would a child in a K-1 class do an I-Search (research project) and learn to give and take oral feedback from other students at such a young age? Children, Teachers and Parents at Mountain View certainly become an engaged community of learners. My daughter is heading into her fourth year at Mountain View as she enters third grade.

Wonderful hands-on school. Small classes make for great student/teacher relationships. There is 100% parent teacher involvement in this school. Se have been here for 4 years, and I wouldn't think about changing!
