North Branch School lives up to its mission statement - one student at a time.

North Branch is the only school I've ever felt welcomed to. The halls are full of friendly students, parents and teachers and you're invited into every room. Nothing is quiet or guarded or "protected" by doors, windows and walls that say "you don't belong here."

North Branch is a wonderfully nurturing place. Small class sizes allow the talented teachers to give each student appropriate attention. The connection to nature at NBS is fabulous, with 11 beautiful acres to explore.

North Branch creates a relaxed, happy atmosphere where children can feel comfortable with who they are and engage fully in their learning. And the children do! They each love going to school, and are highly engaged. The teachers are just wonderful, and are available as whole people to the students.

I am a grandparent of three children involved with NBS and my daughter teaches some of the art classes. This school is a magic place. The physical site, the curriculum, the teachers, the staff and the families all provide one of the most nurturing educational and supportive environments I have ever been involved with. I feel that the emphasis at NBS is geared toward developing the wellbeing of the whole child and always with the extended family included and involved. I am so thankful that my grandchildren have had the opportunity to be part of the NBS experience.
