I am an 8th grader at this school and i think that this school is amazing. The parents who say that our school is bad are wrong. They don't attend this school. I have been at this school for 9 years and this is my final year, so I have had a lot of experience at this school. The teachers are very nice and caring for the students. Please ingore any mean comment because this a wonderful school. Please send your child here because there is a safe environment here and the whole class would be your childs friends.
As a parent of St. Louis Student I am extremely pleased with how this school is evolving. A few years ago there was a change in the principal and administration at the school. The first year or two were years of adjustment, and now it seems that all the bumps of that transition have been mastered and the school is better than ever. The middle school is fantastic! I cannot say enough positive things about it. I am so pleased with the teacher diversity and academics. I could not imagine my son in any other school, and would highly recommend it. The lower school has a solid group of teachers in all grades. No need to want a specific teacher as all of them are great! The prinipal really connects with the students and deals quickly and fairly with all student issues. I am very happy with this school.
While this school does attempt to provide a caring, nurturing environment, it is obvious an inexperienced administrative and teaching staff detract from this school s effectiveness. Our son s teacher was unable to accommodate our son s quiet and shy demeanor and recommended that we change schools before he was left behind the other kids. She admitted she did not have the time to provide the attention or instruction necessary for our child and did not offer any suggestions for parent involvement or any other recommendations. In orientations, the principal misrepresented the school s curriculum focus and resources. Unfortunate, as another Parochial school within the same Archdiocese easily met our needs. I would not recommend this school for anyone whose child does not easily fit within the teaching staff s comfort zone. If considering the school, ask direct and pointed questions of the teachers and principal before committing.
I am impressed with the many young men and women that teach at St. Louis. They are models of virtue as well as dedicated teachers. Sound academics and solid cathechesis make this an excellent choice for parents who care for their child's mind, body and soul.
I think this school is great! They have exceptional sports teams. They have also won many times in dioecan science fair competitions. The school band and choruses have won first place many times! It is a great school to be a part of! Come check it out! They are deeply religious! Like they say 'We believe we Achieve'
This school believes that every child is a star. The classroom sizes are small, and parent involvement is mandatory. If your child is up to the challenge, then this school is great. There is a lot of homework, but your child will be a year or two ahead of the kids in public school. We believe we achieve!
