Academic focus and philosophy

Educational philosophy and approach to learning Nurture a child’s natural love for learning, work, and order through self-discipline, mastering positive attitudes toward learning, and achieving ever increasing levels of independence. As your child works in a group of children of varying ages, abilities, cultures, and interests, your child grows socially and intellectually. At the Montessori School of Alexandria, we believe that character development is just as important to a child as intellectual growth.
