This is our 10th year at St. Agnes and we have had a simply amazing experience. The academics and faith and character formation are second to none. You couldn't ask for a more wonderful environment for your child. The administration and faculty are fabulous. The 8th graders graduating each year are well poised young men and women that have their choice of high schools. Thank you St. Agnes.

Handles bullying effectively: Strongly agree

My children feel safe, happy and loved at St. Agnes. They are kind to classmates and receive the same treatment from others. I have never heard of a bullying problem.

Supports LD students: Strongly agree

The Director of Resources works with teachers and parents to address and learning challenges your child might have and will honestly tell you if you child's needs are too great for St. Agnes. There are special testing accommodations to give some students extra time in a quieter environment. Additionally the school nurse is very helpful in helping with student needs. We recently learned from her that one of our children needed glasses and we had no idea. We are thankful for her intervention.

Effective school leaders: Strongly agree

The Principal and Assistant Principal are an amazing team. They are always looking to the future and considering way to make things even better. They have the full support of the Pastor.

Develops character: Strongly agree

The character and faith formation at St. Agnes is fabulous. Each month there is a virtue that the school focuses on and a service project tied to it. Parenting inside the beltway is very challenging in this day and age and I appreciate a school that installs the same virtues that we have in our home. Thank you St. Agnes.

Teacher effectiveness: Strongly agree

The teachers at St. Agnes could be teaching anywhere but they choose to be at St. Agnes because they believe in a catholic education and appreciate the supportive St. Agnes community. My 8th grader said his history teacher makes history come alive each day and he can't wait to get to class. One of my students in primary school has a recent graduate from Catholic University as a teacher and she is a gift to the teaching profession!

Amount of homework: Strongly agree

While the upper school at St. Agnes is certainly challenging, the St. Agnes students are well prepared for high school.

Supports LD students: Strongly agree

We have been struggling the past few years to identify my childs behavior and attention issues. The school was supportive, understanding and worked with us to get the proper testing done. Even before the evaluation was complete the school did everything they could to help my child have a successful school day.

Amount of homework: Strongly agree

The amount of homework is appropriate per grade level. I am constantly amazed, especially in the upper grades, how projects are all connected in the lessons. For example the novels in language arts are tied into the history lesson, reports and projects tie in both subjects. Amazing!

St. Agnes is a wonderful school, supported by an amazing faculty and staff. The school has been blessed with a phenomenal, supportive staff and teachers who education not just academically, but enrich them spiritually and emotionally. My children have attended St. Agnes for over 10 years and we continue to see it grow and develop. My oldest child is now in high school and doing an amazing job thanks to the foundation and support she got from St. Agnes. It is a school that is rich with tradition, from the primary grades to the upper school. Not only is the school amazing, but the community and volunteer network are active, strong and unfounded.
