We just moved to the Boones Mill area and are very please with the school so far. Our daughter is in K5 there and seems to really enjoy it. I can't wait til our other 3 children go there.

My daughter is a first grader at Boones Mill Elementary. We are very pleased with the faculty and staff at this school. As a matter of fact we moved to the area 2 years ago because we knew she would be starting kindergarten and had heard that Boones Mill was one of the best! They have met and exceeded our goals for our child. We have another child who will be attending there in 3 years and we are excited instead if worried about her education! It is a relief to know that they are taken care of and taught good values. They do not descriminate they just do whats best to ensure they are not distracted from learning!

My son is in 4th grade and went to school today with blue streakes in his hair and becuase of this he was discriminated agianst i guess he is not allowed the freedom to express himself.Have i moved to such a judgmental area is this an example of what we have in store for are future? My son is a very well behaved child very caring of others and because of blue streaks in his hair he is made to feel unwelcome. What have we become when the color of a childs hair is an issue.

Recently rated by the state of Va. as one of the top academic elementary schools. Very good consdering the tax base and local income level of the local population. Per dollar spent it may be the top rated elementary school in the state.
