Our son struggled in high school and almost dropped out or got his GED. We learned about Mountain View from his girlfriend. Our son has felt more adult and empowered at Mountain View due to the way they teach. At his own pace. Smaller classes. Get it done in class or you are out of the class. Be on time or you are bumped out of class. Hard rules but they worked for him. Thankful Parent.

I think Mountain View is an excellent school. The teachers and staff are all very helpful. I have never felt like I belonged as much as I did at this school. I would recommend this school to anyone!

I graduated from Mountain View in 1999, a year earlier than I was expected to graduate high school. I formerly attended Chantilly High School, and during that time I was not focused on my studies and was getting into a lot of trouble. Mountain View was my last hope. Due to Mountain View's emphasis on education and personal attention towards thier students, I was able to graduate high school a year early. I immediately started college after graduating from Mountain View. I currently am still attending college, but also have a Customer Service Management position at a major company. I truly believe that I would not be where I am today, if I had not attended Mountain View. The teachers there really care about their students and that goes a long way. Mountain View is an extraordinary school and I recommend it to anyone and everyone I possibly can.

MountainView was the only school in my educational career where I was treated like a human being. I was encouraged by my 12th grade English teacher in my writing. I'm now going to a four-year university with English as one of my intended majors. Students had intelligent debates about the 2004 elections in government class. Because MountainView focuses on work, rather than an arbitrary timetable, I finished highschool early and did a semester at NVCC. From the outside MountainView does not look like a place where a GT-student could flourish, but MountainView is what you make of it.
