Saw the comment about Mrs. Fellows and I have to concur. My son has her this year too. We just love her. She is very connected with her students and my son with his attention troubles is thriving well in her classroom. HFES has so many positives to offer to South Riding. Award winning teachers is one of them!

This school is outstanding when it comes to classroom teachers and faculty. My kids have had wonderful teachers, year after year, and the specialists are great as well. I am particularly impressed with the PTA and the Library Program.

The principal is a very strong leader and runs a tight ship. Most of the teachers I have had experience with are absolutely wonderful, though I think a few could be more creative in their approach. The facility, including the library and computer lab are excellent Mr. Nelson, Ms. Payne, Ms. Gusti come to mind as outstanding teachers. Last year the office staff seemed to be more frendly to some people than others, but this seems to have changed for the better this year, perhaps someone mentioned it. Parental involvement is strong.

Great school and teachers. Students have higher test scores than most schools in this County. Great community feeling at this school.
