For the number of kids within the school, and as small as the classes are, I feel that not enough is being done. Examples: Seniors should not be finding out at the last hour that they will not graduate. All Seniors should have received a letter this summer to let them know the dead line for taking SAT's, instead of finding out the first day of school you have missed the deadline for the test being given in October. I can go on and on. I feel the teachers are scared to speak up on issues in fear of losing their jobs, which is sad when the school board is not open to other suggestions or opinions. My only suggestion to upcoming parents is attend all parent teachers conferences and make yourself known so your child won't be left behind.

The principle of CCHS is trying his best to make a good school. He lacks cooperation from above to make it happen, so his job is difficult. The school has improved over the past few years, however, it still has a long way to go. Classroom discipline is still a problem and learning in a chaotic environment is difficult. There needs to be more accountability on the part of higher administration (in terms of $$ spent and the quality of education county residents are getting for their tax $). The residents of the community need to get involved to make it a better place, only then will real change happen.

There are good techers at this school, but as usual it is who you know that keeps you on. These teachers work for nothing thats why we lose so many. Seems like it's a family system throughout this county. We need more involvement from members of the commuinty to help here, not just parents.
