Village School provided an excellent education for my daughter. Her confidence and self-esteem were low before entering Village. She was ready for HS in every way. The teachers truly knew her and cared about her. Highly recommend this school for a high achieving girl!

My daughter had a terrific experience here and I would highly recommend this school. The heads keep the middle school drama to a minimum and the girls travel as a class of 17 around the school to each subject. There is positively no room or time for cliques to develop at school and my daughter's class was very close. With the exception of math, she was very well prepared for high school. I understand that they have a new math teacher who is much better. There is no administrative fluff...the school has a strict mission and sticks to it.

I'm a grad - Village School didn't always seem like the best experience at the time, but looking back I've never been sorry. Ever.

The school is an academical village, as the name suggests, providing a broad range of subjects and a devoted teaching staff. The education is a complete process. From ages ten to fourteen, girls become young adults in a positive environment while 'learning to learn'. As an eighth grader, I believe that Village School is the best preparation for high school, college and even life that you can give to your girl(s).

This school has little to no diversity, and the math program is simply horrible. I would never, not in a million trillion years, send my child ( I don't have one, I'm 14) to this school. The teachers are horrible, the girls a snobs.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
