One of the best schools I private schools I have researched. My kid goes here. The small classes and the one on one help for my child really shows in his work.

My 3 boys and I LOVE this school! The teachers & administrative staff really love and care about us. The education they are receiving is beyond my expectations. There is not anywhere that I would want my children to go.

I have 2 children at CRCA and they both love it! The staff has been excellent and my kids have learned so much and are excited about attending summer camp. My kids have already been there a year and with my family being a military family we are super excited that we have 3 more years left here in Virginia. This will allow my oldest to complete all the way thru 4th grade at CRCA.

CRCA IS A WONDERFUL SCHOOL THAT IS CHRIST AND FAMILY CENTERED!!! The staff and teachers treat each child with respect and treat them as if they were there own. My child is thriving and is very happy every day when I pick her up. She talks about her teachers, her classmates, God and Jesus when she is at home. CRCA is a very positive enviroment that makes you feel like family. I've already enrolled my child for the next school year.

I love this school! Before we moved here I didn't have a clue where to enroll my child. Two phone calls with the pastor and I was sure I'd found the right place. We liked it enough to keep him there for three years. He'd still be there but it ends at 4th grade.I even started working there and the loving environment made it feel like a second home.Never had I worked with so many Christ-centered and fun-loving people. Not all people are at the same level in their Christian walk so a few eventually left to explore new avenues to provide for their own growth. But nevertheless the same wholesome loving environment still remains. My experience at CRCA has helped me to grow into a better person and we will always cherish our special years spent here.My son got an excellent start gr 2-4 and is scores high in class ,SATS,and on honor roll .AAA+++

I am a teacher at CRCA and I have to say you could never find a more caring and loving environment!! I have worked in public schools and they have their assets too, but if you are looking for teachers and staff that will love your children like their own, CRCA is the place to be!!

This is an excellent school! My daughter started attending school here at the start of the 2009/2010 school year. This past summer she participated in their summer program and loved it! One review states that the "many of the teachers are leaving" but, actually all but a couple of the teachers from last year have returned for this year. The biggest change was in the administrative staff. Despite the changes in administrative staff and quitting of the Director at the end of last school year, the school still proves to be one of the best private schools in Chesapeake. The staff takes a genuine concern for the children both academically and spiritually as well as on a personal level. Each child is academically prepared for the next level and above and very well cared for. The current Director has done an outstanding job in keeping the ship sailing smoothly through all the inner turmoil. And the teaching staff has done a wonderful job keeping the children focused on academics and faith. My hats off to Cedar Road Christian Academy and many thanks for all you do for the children.

I LOVE CRCA! I switcted both my children there last year and have been nothing but pleased. This is our 2nd year here and I contiue to be amazed at the caring attitude of the teachers and staff and the learning that goes on there. My children amaze me daily with their new-found knowledge. Having been there last year with the old director and again this year with the new director, I have noticed no change in the caring of the teachers and staff nor the quality of instruction. I highly recommend CRCA to any parents who want caring teachers and high-quality education for their children.

My child first started going there early last Spring after leaving her home daycare provider. It seemed like a warm, caring and great place for her at first, but we could sense a lot of inner turmoil throughout the staff. They had a meeting saying that this did not and would not affect the children , but how could it not?

This is an amazing school. Our daughter started with the summer program and after seeing how "nurturing" her daycare provider was we decided to keep her there for preschool. I'm so happy that we did! She has only been in school since Sept and has already learned so much. She loves this school so much she actually askes me to wait til about 4 to pick her up! She writes her name now with no help and is even working on letter recognition. The staff is always friendly and it has a "warm and inviting" feeling which we noticed when we did our initial walk through.

This school is fantastic!!! The staff is friendly and welcoming. I'm very pleased with the curriculum and variety of additional programs offered on-site. The teachers are ALL very creative and enthusiastic. I have loved watching the educational and spiritual growth of my child.:)There is a "family" atmosphere that is unparalleled. Thank you Cedar Road Christian Academy for all you have done for our family. This is a "small school with a mighty spirit"!

This school has been a blessing for our family! Despite the fact that the director left last spring, almost all of the teachers stayed. The CRCA staff is a loving dedicated group and has done a terrific job at making my children feel like this is their home away from home. They love being there! Being a military family, it was important for us to find a stable environment for our children. My children have received the utmost care and an excellent education. The teachers go far and beyond to make sure that each child s needs are met and that they are receiving the best education possible. I would highly recommend this school to anyone!

This school was a phenomenal experience for our 5 year old. She recently completed Pre-K-4 at CRCA and has yet to stop talking about it. Academically she is over prepared for Kindergarten at the Public school level. From a relational point, her preschool teacher displayed a genuine love and concern for the well-being of our daughter, socially, academically, and emotionally. We could not have asked for a better experience. She has learned so much from attending this school and she has also grown so much in knowledge about her faith. I am grateful for all that they've done for her, our hopes are to send our next daughter here for preschool when she is of age.

This was a great school until recently, the director quit as well as other staff and teachers. We have already switched to another school and daycare.

This school has a good premise ,but recently it is undergoing alot of inner turmoil recently. The director recently quit, and many of the teachers are leaving. My child's first teacher was fired , and we were not notified with even a note. Needless to say, we are switching to another school as soon as possible!

Great school! My older daughter attended it for almost 6 years and now she is excelling in the one of the best in VA private school. This year our younger going to start pre-school. This school is trully a blessing! You may not find a top notch facility, but the teachers, stuff and director are the best!

Great school! My child has been attending since second grade. The quality of education is superb. If you are concerned about the quality of your child's education, CRCA is certaintly the place for you. You will never find teachers as caring and committed as those at CRCA!

My daughter attends the preschool and my son has been in 1st grade this year. The quality of education is excellent--my son loves reading because of his teacher! This school shines because of the 'hometown community' feel-if you are looking for a place where your children are valued, CRCA is it. The teachers, staff, and special events unique to the setting make this school dear to my heart. The halls of the school are always decorated with pictures and student artwork. The music teacher is skilled and offers piano lessons. This is truly a warm an inviting environment for families. I am so glad I enrolled my babies at this school. The summer program rocks-so many fun activities and field trips.

My daughter has been at Cedar Road Christian Academy for 2 years. Our family loves the care that our child receives here. Her teacher is loving and nurturing. She teaches my 3 year old all of the basics and she adds in Spanish! It is awesome to hear her count in 2 languages! Every week she has art, P.E., and music class. Everywhere we take her, people think she is in kindergarten because of her vocabulary and speaking ability. She stops to pray for meals and even at times like when she sees a rainbow and wants to thank God for it. I would recommend this school to anyone!

If you are looking for academic excellence that includes a safe, nurturing environment, then there is no need to look any further. My daughter has been attending Cedar Road Christian Academy for two years (including their summer program that is spectacular). I am so impressed with the professionalism and dedication of the staff. More importantly, my daughter, who is a preschooler, is exposed to quality academic instruction which also includes PE (indoors as well as outdoors), Art, Drama, Music, and Spanish. I can remember how discouraged I was while looking for a place for my daughter who was only two at the time. I know in my heart that finding CRCA was a true blessing.

CRCA is a nice school. I have noticed that the outside of the school could use some work and the parking lot would be much better paved. My son attends and it's his first year. He is learning a lot but I find they do not have the resources available to teach to your childs ability. If your child is excelling in a subject as my child is, they may not do anything to encourage the child to do more than the normal classroom work. You are not going to get any excelleration. There is also no gym so if it rains, your child will not be getting exercise that day.

We have used CRCA for 3 years (going on 4). The facility is ok, but the staff and level of effort are what keeps CRCA at the top of my list. Very close group of students and teachers. A comfortable level of educational and biblical teachings. One of the best in the state!

My daughter has been attending CRCA for three years. The quality of education is extremely high and with the small class sizes (she has never had a class larger than 12 students), the teachers have more time to indiviually evaluate the students. While the school is small, they still offer many different types of learning enviornments and extracurricular activities such as art, music, drama club, Spanish, piano lessons and swimming lessons (in the summer). I also love the fact that all of the teachers and support staff take time to get to know the students and their parents. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking for a quality education in a caring, Christian enviornment.
