My brother has went to Crestwood Intermediate and now he is a seventh grader at Crestwood Middle School. Academically he is doing well. I help him with his homework sometimes and he seems to be right on track and does not need much help. My problem with the schooling system is how they have somehow singled my brother out to make him the trouble maker. the amount of times he has been suspended is ridiculous and my mother is always taking off of work to go talk to the teachers about his behavior. Have the teachers lost control of the classrooms?

I am currently an 8th grader in crestwood middle school and so far it is an excellent school. they are really devoted to helping you with sols. most teachers take their planning time to help kids get caught up or helping pull up their grades. In my opinion i believe this is the perfect bully free school and i think you should sign your child up. we have had so many famous athletes attend our school. and maybe your child could be the next!!!

My child attended CWM for 2 years. My lingering impression was that this school places a significant focus on the SOL's, for better or for worse. After my daughter's first year, CWM cut each class length to create an SOL Prep class, to improve scores. I don't know if this was the standard for Virginia schools to manage the SOL's this way, but my child got straight A's without much effort, but still had to receive a grade in SOL Prep class to make sure she could pass the SOL test, for material that was well below what she was covering in her other core classes. They have many honors classes, which is great for meeting the needs of those kids that need an extra challenge. But the curriculum all appears to go on hold when SOL test time comes around.

A hidden gem in Chesapeake!!! I could not have asked for a better school for my children to attend. The faculty and administration truely cares for all the students there. The principle greets me by my name, not because my child has been to see her for discipline problems, its becuase she knows her students and the parents that are involved! The school it self is old, but they make the best with what they have. Students are treated as young men & women and are also held accountable as such, no slackers at CMS. Student are encourged daily and extra attention is given when needed. Falcon Pride Baby!!!

Crestwood Middle School is Chesapeake, Va biggest kept secret. I attended Crestwood in the early 90's, I currently teach at Crestwwood, and I have a child that attend their. The entire staff is dedicated to the success of your children. The Administration, Custodial Staff, Teachers, etc. all do their best to ensure your children have a great learning enviroment. Crestwood Middle School 'hands down' has the best PTA in the city of Chesapeake. There are numerous after school activities for your children. Chess Club, Wrestling Club, Forensics, Chrome Club, and more. We also have the one the most respected step teams in the entire area. Crestwood Middle Athletic Programs are open to all 7th and 8th grade students. You children can participate in Football, Softball, Wrestling, Basketball, Track, Cheerleading, Volleyball, and just added this year Field Hockey. Come on over and ask one of our principles to give a tour.

I am very pleased with this school. I have two boys who attend. The administrative staff (principle, vice principles, etc.) go out of their way to ensure the student is well rounded, not just academically, but socially too.
