Truitt Intermediate School

My son is in the fourth grade and is doing well with Mr. Weaver in the Gifted and Talented Program! The new principal is Ms. Bryant who came over from RBW. WE are so lucky to have her! We have a great PTA who works hard with the school to raise much needed funds. The school is safe thanks to Mr. Stewart and we have a wonderful office staff who give way more than a 100%! Go Tigers!

This is a very good school to attend!!! I had a great time there!!! I also mage straight As while I was there...that's not easy contrary to many people's belief.

The level of parent is high. They are good extracurricular activities(Using only the music program. My student isn't a great student but still passed the Sol It seems that the teachers are working better the principal, Mrs. Terry Reitz.

Truitt is a great school despite its location in the South Norfolk area of Chesapeake. Teachers and students alike have really flourished under the leadership of principal Diane Watkins. Just walking in the doors of this school, you'll feel right at home. And the care and tenderness you see expressed by all the staff - including the nurse and the custodians - melts your heart. I know my children will have help with their homework and learn and be exposed to all sorts of stuff in the afternoons! Keep up the good work!
