I have had public school teachers wanting to know what school my son attended prior to coming to public schools because he is so much further along academically than other students in his class. I told the teacher Faith Diamond Christian Academy. I have nothing but high regards for this school.

With our two children, we have a combined total of 10 years at Faith Diamond Christian Academy. Our oldest child has been enrolled in the public school system for about 5 years now and we continue to hear comments from his teachers, administrators and other parents about his pleasant demeanor and the quality of his personality. He is an exceptional student and we expect great things in his college experience and his future endeavors. We believe these qualities developed as a result of the combined efforts of our home environment and that of the Academy (which includes but is not limited to; the teachers, the staff) and its bible based instruction. Our second child is a rising third grader and we are well pleased with his development as a young man and as a Christian and we also expect to see and hear more good things about him in the years to come. FDCA provides an affordable atmosphere of Christian love and understanding that lends to a great total life experience for children of all grade levels and from all walks of life.

Check the DSS website. There have been complaints. Run far away from this cash cow. They are mainly focused on money, not quality care and education.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.

What makes a great teacher? Study after study shows the single most important factor determining the quality of the education a child receives is the quality of his teacher. Here are some characteristics to look for »
