We've had substandard teachers who don't seem to want to be around children. Admin has been unresponsive and unsupportive of our concerns. The principal is never there and doesn't return phone calls. My children for the first time don't like to go to school.

My son just finished his kindergarten year at Crozet Elementary and I must say I am a skeptic turned raving fan. I couldn't have imagined a more ideal kindergarten experience for him. The teaching team did a phenomenal job . . . my 'space cadet' 5-yr old came home excited every week about memorizing his new reading list, and loved his teachers and classmates. Extracurricular activities with parents/families/community were frequent, relevant, and well organized. Truly a community not just a school. Finally, kudos to Asst Principal Mark for kindly addressing my phone calls and inquiries about districting and other issues. Patient, informative and helpful. Two thumbs up for Crozet Elem!

I have 2 daughters in Crozet. Both of them thrive with the curriculum that the school provides. The team they ahve in place is very loving nurturing and supportive in every aspect. The PTO is the most involved I have ever been a part of. The school is truly dedicated to the children.

Croze school is a great place for your child to go to school. I have lived here for 24 years. When my husband and I decided to buy a house, we chose to buy a house in the Crozet school district because of the school. The prinipal is a very loving person, that really does care about the kids. The teachers are always willing to stay after or help a child that may need extra help. Parent volunteer involvment is very high at this school. I am very impressed with Crozet School. Crozet school makes you feel like you are part of a family and a community, its up to you to get involved.

The school is amazing. My children thrive and are both in the 'gifted/accelerated' programs. they make it accessible for children of all learning styles to flourish. The principle is a loving and nurturing person that the children adore. I have nothing but praises for Crozet Elementary. We moved to that school district because of the school.

Adequate teachers who do not demonstrate a 'love of learning,' and substandard principal who chooses not to be very involved, nor does she accept responsibility for many of the actions in her school - very much a politician. Fairly involved parents help to compensate for the relatively poor showing by some of the teachers
